Humanitarian Energy

UNHCR Camp

Partnering with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) under stringent international guidelines, PCPL delivered critical humanitarian solar energy infrastructure to the refugee settlements in Cox's Bazar —currently home to the world's largest concentration of displaced people. Providing entirely clean, reliable off-grid power for essential, life-saving services, this deployment powers field medical facilities, emergency communication arrays, community secure centers, and vital perimeter lighting. Engineered to deploy rapidly and operate independently of any local grid infrastructure, the solar arrays incorporate robust battery backup systems to ensure continuous operation throughout the night and during heavy monsoon seasons. This project stands as one of PCPL's most profound human-impact deployments —where rapid-response engineering expertise directly meets and fulfills urgent humanitarian responsibility, illuminating camps and securing medical lifelines for thousands of vulnerable individuals.
