Payra Port Authority

PCPL successfully commissioned a highly strategic, heavy-duty 187.635 kWp rooftop solar plant for the Payra Port Authority, installed on their primary Multipurpose House in Kalapara, Patuakhali. Delivered fully operational by July 2025, this resilient system is expected to generate a massive 239 MWh annually, leveraging a 150 kW AC output architecture. Given the coastal location, the entire structural mounting and electrical conduit system was strictly engineered using marine-grade, anti-corrosive materials to withstand extreme salinity, cyclonic winds, and intense maritime weather. This installation cleanly powers the port's critical administrative loads, cementing Payra Port's status as a forward-thinking, ecologically responsible maritime logistics hub in South Asia. By significantly offsetting port administrative energy expenditures, the project demonstrates how critical national logistical infrastructure can smoothly pivot toward renewable self-reliance while maintaining rigorous operational uptime requirements.
