Maddhapara Granite Mine
Maddhapara Granite Mining Company Limited
Maddhapara Granite Mining Company Limited (MGMCL) operates one of the very few hard-rock granite mines in Bangladesh, a facility that demands reliable, cost-efficient, and continuous energy to sustain its heavy-duty operations. Recognizing the operational risks of grid interruptions, PCPL designed and commissioned a highly optimized 11.07 kWp rooftop solar system specifically for the MGMCL Store Building. Commissioned in May 2026, the 8 kW AC output system is engineered to reduce dependence on grid power in a predominantly industrial area prone to supply inconsistencies. Generating approximately 13.8 MWh of clean energy per year, this installation directly offsets operational energy costs and minimizes the carbon footprint of the mining site. The structural design of the arrays was customized to withstand high levels of industrial dust and vibrational stress typical of a mining environment, demonstrating PCPL's capability to tailor and deliver precision solar solutions for the most rigorous and specialized industrial environments in the nation.
