City Touch Smart Lighting

PCPL successfully deployed an advanced City Touch intelligent street lighting network across the premier residential development of Jolshiri, fundamentally revolutionizing the scope of urban infrastructure in Bangladesh. This state-of-the-art system brings central algorithmic control, real-time lumen dimming based on ambient light sensors, and remote outage diagnostics to thousands of streetlights across the sector. By optimizing burn-hours and preventing power waste during low-traffic periods, the system reduces lighting energy consumption by up to 50% compared to conventional sodium or standard LED street lights. Furthermore, it enables municipal operators to monitor the health, voltage limits, and operational status of each luminaire individually from a centralized, cloud-based dashboard—drastically cutting down maintenance response times. This project stands as one of the first at-scale smart lighting deployments in residential Bangladesh, setting an entirely new and highly technical benchmark for urban energy intelligence, safety, and smart-city scalability.
